F&B General Manager
Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join Come Alive, a vibrant, immersive show at the Empress Museum in Earl's Court. We are looking for talented individuals to oversee the food and beverage operations, including management of a food court, bars, and VIP spaces. Ideal for those with a passion for live experiential events and a background in hospitality.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the F&B outlets, including food court and bars, ensuring smooth running during show times and non-show times. Ensure all aspects of service are executed to the highest standards. - Financial Accountability:
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, cost control, and daily/weekly financial reporting. Ensure profitability of F&B outlets while maintaining quality and service. - Trader and Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with food vendors and traders, ensuring compliance with operational standards and maintaining a diverse and vibrant food offering for the event. - Stock Control:
Monitor and manage stock levels, including procurement of supplies for food, beverage, and cocktail batching, ensuring there is no disruption to service. - Team Leadership and Recruitment:
Recruit, train, and manage all F&B staff, ensuring that all team members are performing their roles effectively. Lead large teams and ensure clear communication and motivation across the staff. - VIP Services:
Oversee management of VIP spaces, including premium table service, canapés, and elevated food and drink offerings, ensuring a high-end experience for VIP guests. - Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure all F&B areas comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Maintain and enforce standards for food handling, storage, and service. - Back of House Management:
Oversee back-of-house operations, including batching of cocktails, stock procurement, maintaining systems, and ensuring all storage areas are kept organised and
Job Requirements
- Passion for Live Shows and Experiential Events:
We are seeking individuals who thrive in live event environments and are excited by the challenge of running a dynamic F&B operation within an experiential setting. - Hospitality Experience:
Proven experience managing food and beverage outlets in the hospitality industry. Background in managing food courts, bars, and large-scale service is essential. - Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Experience with recruitment and staff management is required. - Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
Strong ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively. - Organisational Skills:
Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure smooth operations across multiple outlets. - Health & Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food and beverage industry, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and best practices.

Salary: £55k - £59k (includes pension and holiday benefits)
