Manases Palacios Molano

Circus Performer

Manases was born on February 15, 1994, on Chameleon Island (Iquitos), Peru, the youngest of three sisters and two brothers. He began practicing acrobatics at the age of 12, in the sawmills around Iquitos. At 16, in 2010, he started studying graphic advertising design, and at 17, while studying,  trained in acrobatics and capoeira. At 18, in 2012, he left his birthplace and moved to the capital of Peru (Lima), where he decided to dedicate himself to capoeira.

In November 2016, he learned about auditions for La Tarumba circus school and in 2017 began his journey as a circus artist. He studied circus for 3 years, going through many disciplines, specialising in banquine and hand-to-hand duo. In his second year of school, he met his partner Juan, and after finishing circus school, they formed the Duo Migranti.  

Since they began working together, they have performed hand to hand duo and banquine acts in companies such as El Circo de la Chola Chabuca, the Independence Day Show 2020 and La Cúpula de las Artes and in shows like Viva el Circo, Circo Sobre Hielo, Tsaurios, and Mundo de Dinosaurios.
